Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vaultbrix database-as-a-service platform operated by Starbox-Group GmbH, a company incorporated under Swiss law with its registered office in Geneva, Switzerland.
By accessing or using Vaultbrix, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
- "Service" - The Vaultbrix platform, including databases, APIs, AI Context Engine, storage, and related features
- "Customer" or "You" - The individual or entity using the Service
- "Customer Data" - All data stored in your databases, storage buckets, and edge functions
- "AI Context Engine" - The Snipara-powered schema introspection and context optimization system
- "MCP Endpoint" - The Model Context Protocol endpoint for AI tool integration
3. Service Description
Vaultbrix provides:
- PostgreSQL 17 database hosting with pgvector
- Authentication services (GoTrue)
- REST API (PostgREST) and GraphQL
- Realtime subscriptions
- S3-compatible object storage
- Edge Functions (Deno runtime)
- AI Context Engine (Snipara integration)
- MCP endpoints for AI assistants
- Database branching and point-in-time recovery
4. Account Registration
4.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, API keys, and database connection strings. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Store or transmit malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Violate third-party intellectual property rights
- Use the Service for cryptocurrency mining
- Exceed rate limits or abuse resources
- Resell the Service without authorization
6. Customer Data
6.1 Ownership
You Own Your Data
You retain full ownership of all Customer Data. Vaultbrix claims no ownership rights over your data.
6.2 License to Process
You grant Vaultbrix a limited license to process Customer Data solely to provide the Service, including schema introspection for the AI Context Engine.
6.3 Data Portability
You may export your data at any time using standard PostgreSQL tools (pg_dump) or our dashboard export features.
6.4 Data Location
All Customer Data is stored exclusively in Switzerland (Geneva data center). Data never leaves Swiss jurisdiction.
7. AI Context Engine
7.1 Service Description
The AI Context Engine analyzes your database schema (table names, columns, relationships, indexes) to enable AI tools to understand your data structure.
7.2 Consent
By using the Service, you consent to schema analysis for AI context features. You may disable AI Context features in your project settings.
7.3 Limitations
AI-generated outputs may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying any AI-assisted operations before applying them to production data.
8. Fees and Payment
8.1 Pricing
- Free: €0/month - 1 database, 500 MB storage, 100 AI requests
- Pro: €25/month - 3 databases, 8 GB storage, 10,000 AI requests
- Enterprise: €99/month - 10 databases, 100 GB storage, unlimited AI requests
8.2 Payment Terms
Payments are processed monthly via Stripe. All prices are in EUR and exclude applicable taxes (VAT where required).
8.3 Refunds
Digital services are non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
9. Service Level
9.1 Availability Target
We target 99.5% uptime for production databases. Scheduled maintenance windows are excluded.

- Pro: Email support (48h response)
- Enterprise: Priority support (24h response)
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Vaultbrix IP
The Vaultbrix platform, software, documentation, and trademarks are owned by Starbox-Group GmbH.
10.2 Customer IP
You retain all intellectual property rights in your applications, code, and data.
11. Warranties and Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY SWISS LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY SWISS LAW:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- These limitations do not apply to gross negligence or intentional misconduct
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vaultbrix from claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
14. Term and Termination
14.1 Term
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled.
14.2 Termination by You
You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard. Upon cancellation, you have 30 days to export your data.
14.3 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account for material breach, non-payment, or illegal activity.
14.4 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 60 days unless legally required to retain it.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
Swiss Law Governs
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict of laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Jurisdiction: Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
16. General Provisions
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vaultbrix.
16.2 Amendments
We may modify these Terms with 30 days notice. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance.
16.3 Severability
If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
16.4 Assignment
You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition.
16.5 Force Majeure
Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
